With the programme "International Mobility and Cooperation Digital" (IMKD), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) uses funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to support German universities in improving their international profile through a digitally supported orientation of teaching and student mobility.

MyScore (Mobility System Cooperation in Higher Education)

RWTH Aachen University
The MyScore project at RWTH Aachen University focuses on expanding the digital blended learning concept for the English-language engineering master's degree programmes. In order to train the students' soft skills, a virtual underground mine is being expanded and a virtual reality role-playing game is being implemented.
In addition, RWTH is planning to expand its digital examination system and implement the so-called EMREX infrastructure.

Digital Mobil

FH Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences
The Digital Mobil project focuses on the development of technical-didactic solutions in teaching and the preparation of students for the digitalised global labour market. Important measures of the project are, for example, the expansion of the university's digital international infrastructure, the connection of learning management systems of international partners, the development of multimedia collaboration solutions transnationally as well as the simplification of administrative processes from the students' and employees' point of view.

Technical University of Berlin
The joint project "ide3a" is a living lab in the digitalisation of teaching, research and administration. The thematic focus is on interdisciplinary, research-based learning in an international context. The aim of ide3a is to create a joint virtual campus to promote e-learning, e-research and e-mobility at the participating universities and to digitalise administrative processes.

Managing the Digital Transformation – Digital Education Ecosystem

Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts
In cooperation with the Universities of Bilbao, Kaunas, Leuven and Trondheim, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts wants to comprehensively digitalise three of its international Master's programmes and add the subject area "Managing the Digital Transformation". A "Digital Education Ecosystem" is to be created in the European network, which will allow a virtual or real student journey through the Master's programmes. The ecosystem is to be expanded to include a virtual transnational Master School with the topics of digitalisation, project orientation and internationalisation.

liveSciences³: Transnational and digitally networked life sciences

Georg August University of Göttingen
Together with its international partner universities, the University of Göttingen has set itself the goal of simplifying the digital services offered by its partner universities and enriching the student journey through digitally supported transnational teaching and learning opportunities. A digital life sciences network is to be established to expand teaching and to promote new formats of mobility. Furthermore, the establishment of standardised procedures for international student mobility is planned.
